Anyone know about flying on commercial airline with fertile eggs? This would be from Sacramento to San Diego, so within the same state. Going to Sacramento in September and would love to bring home some eggs. I'll check with the airline but just curious on whether anyone has done it.

Yep...no problem. I just flew from Vermont to California with 5 1/2 dozen eggs as a carry on. Other than laughs, no one cared. They do have to go through the x-ray machine though. Good luck. [IMG]

Wow, that's really cool to know!! [IMG]

Don't the X-Ray machines affect the eggs? How was your hatch rate?

If we start seeing little dinosaurs instead of chickens, we'll know the radiation had an effect.

Hmm, x-ray vs candling...maybe add in an ultra-sound?

So how was the hatch rate of X-ray eggs? Did the X-ray affect the embryos?
