Tylosin is mentioned, so maybe the amtyl will be effective.
Ok ill pick some up. Thank you so muchFoamy/bubbly eye can be a sign Mycoplasma.
Flush the eye and apply Terramycin in the eye 2-3 times a day.
The Amtyl may help if it's Mycoplasma, it has enough Tylosin in it to hopefully be effective. Amoxicillin is not effective against MG since it has no cell wall.
It is just the one hen, but I've had two die in the last two weeks for reasons unknown. As far as I can see there is nothing in her eyes but we've ordered some medicineMost likely a respiratory issue. Is it just the one hen? Have you been able to look close to see if there is anything in the eye?
