Food for 2 week old chicks

    I have a crumble that is medicated for the baby chicks 20% protein....seems low
    is there anything better to use out there?
    theres duck starter that is 22% but it has no medication on it
    chicks are 2 weeks old

    That seems to be pretty standard for chick feed. They have lower requirements than do ducks or game birds.

    I heard game bird starter is better for young chicks

    Overdoing it on protein can be just as bad as not enough. Most commercial chick starters are balanced nutrition and chicks do just fine on them.
