food & water in incubator?

Should I have food & water available in the incubator in case there are early and late hatchings?

No, they can survive on the yolk for a few days. If you order chicks through the mail they haven't been fed. They first get food and water when you receive them.

I'd be concerned the food would mold from all the humidity.
