    I'm just starting out....
    We are getting Bantam chickens.

    1. What food should I buy?
    2. Can they eat any/ all scraps (ex... from dinner etc...) Or is it just fruits/ veggies..?

    Thanks

well, when there small chicks they need to eat starter feed. But, when they grow older to 20 weeks of age , then you should start seing some eggs, so you should feed them corn, and layer feed. Also, it would be better to feed them oyster shells, to make there eggs nice and hard, (the shell of the egg).
Oh, and chickens are omnivores, so they can eat practicly annything meat or veggie. . .but don't feed them onyons! Unless you wan't your eggs to taste like them!!!
