My girls lve watermelon but I tried cantaloupe cucumbers and cabbage no way didn't like any suggestions what else I may try.

My girls lve watermelon but I tried cantaloupe cucumbers and cabbage no way didn't like any suggestions what else I may try.

I feed mine cucumbers, squash, zucchini every day. The cucumbers can be sliced in 1/2 long way and sprinkle a little feed on them---on the sliced part---after a couple days you want have to sprinkle the feed on it---just slice. I cook up a BIG commercial pot---probably 8 to 10 gallons of cut up cucumbers, squash and zucchini about every day right now-----bring the pot to a rolling boil for a few minutes----cut it off and let it sit until the next day to cool. the chickens, dog, cats, and the hogs eat it up---I have 5 hogs and about 150 chickens so a big pot like that does not give them a lot each---LOL.
The other big thing I feed the chickens is collard leaves---they love them as well as the rabbits.
