Just curious~ What kinds of foods do you leave out on the counter that are vegetable, fruits and other things that people typically might store in the fridge??

Grapes would also be on the counter... If they lasted long enough. [IMG] Also apples are on the counter.

I put just about everything in the fridge unless it's in a tight-sealed container and did not need refrigeration (with the exception of dried beans). I have had bugs get into most everything where I live, even bugs I didn't expect like grain beetles. Since I started storing everything in the fridge, I haven't had any insect issues.

Depends on the season. Like Darlene, in summer most stuff goes in the fridge due to bug issues. Winter, most stuff stays out on the counter.
