Foods, plants that cannot be feed to chickens

There aren't many, of foods that people eat. Chocolate is toxic. Sugar and heavy amounts of salt and fat should not be fed. Potato peels are supposed to be toxic but a lot of people feed them Cat or dog food should be given in small amounts if at all. Dried peas and beans should be cooked, but whole grains and seeds are fine; some people use quick cooking oats right out of the box (I have done this.) Any meat or veggie or fruit scraps, raw or cooked, are fine. Rice and pasta are OK but don't have a lot of nutrition so the quantity should be small. They can't taste hot foods (capsaicin) so if you have (spicy) hot leftovers, they're fine.
