Foot Injured from Bracelet, swollen

We have a barred rock whose ID bracelet somehow ended up wrapped around her foot and dug into the bottom of it. There are no signs of cuts or blood but the bottom is swollen and she cannot walk on it. Since removing the band we are now on Day 3 or 4 and she's still hobbling around with a swollen foot. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, at this point all you can do is keep her comfortable and hope the swelling goes down. I would make sure she is in an area with plenty of soft bedding and easy-to-reach feed and water. Watch for infection, too.
