Are you a registered LLC? While this is 100% in the future I am in the process of researching what to do for taxes etc. I already know the need to be NPIP and AI clean, we're technically a registered farm under the USDA but are phasing out those animals we registered with to reidentifiy as a homestead.

So for those who are breeders that sell birds/eggs and show you a LLC for taxes or something else?

I am in this same boat as well, but I think a sole proprietorship with a DBA generally works. I have done it with other business ventures, it makes it easier to file taxes as a sole proprietorship.

That makes sense. While I'm the one spearheading it semi a family venture (on family property) so was hoping to get a variety of imput.
