I have a nice pair of '08 buff Brahmas for sale for $50. Hatched in May '08. I did not raise these birds - I purchased them here in Virginia last month . They are large - the roo weighs around 8-9 lbs. and the hen isn't much smaller. The hen is laying although because of her young age (I've been told they are slow to mature)and the cold weather that won't go away
, I am getting 1-2 eggs per week from her. Due to being housed together, the hen has some feathering missing on her back but other than that, they are both beautiful birds. They are large but not aggressive. I paid double what I am asking for them on an eggbid auction but I have two other roos, they are not getting along and my housing for the chickens is limited.
