Whether you are taking a quick trip to the mall or a scenic drive down memory lane this little guy will get you there in style.

Introducing Bluestreak-because that's all you'll see when he passes you.

Unfortunately, Bluestreak's paint job did not pass my inspection and he'll have to back to the body shop. Don't like those wheels/rims either. But, hey, he's a fun ride!

Nice car.

Paint looks great in the pictures. Whats wrong?
Looks like it was disassembled when it was painted
blue.

And the factory tach option...and the best number of
pedals for a muscle car.

The paint's finish is uneven, dimpled, with pitting, and the body work is shoddy. The color is as close to original as possible. The 396 has a wonderful lope but those tires and rims simply can't handle the horsepower. Considering the car's age it is in remarkably good condition.

I was thinking that the tires and rims just didn't look good at all on that car! LOL, my dad used to collect/restore antique and classic cars, thanks for posting this. It brings back a lot of memories. Hope they get the paint job right this time!

Those rims and tires don't look good on any car or truck...They are visually out of balance......I know...It's just a matter of perception, and I'm an old fogey.

I've thought about this all night.

OldChick...Any chance of you loaning me that car for awhile?
Of course, I'll need you to change the tires first. I'm thinking a
set of racing slicks would look nice.

This is only wenesday. If you hurry and get it shipped here, I can
be on the track this weekend...

So maybe loaning me the Chevelle wasn't the first thing
on your mind this morning.

Look at it this way...and in your own words.

I've got a lot of things to do in the next few days. And I could
do them quicker in a Bluestreak.

I can take my wife to the mall... in a bluestreak.
I can take a scenic drive............in a bluestreak.
I can go down memory lane......in a bluestreak.

I just love the way my sheet feels, blowing in the wind.

Spook...who looks good in a bluestreak

Well, Bluestreak got axle seals put in today. The hubby has to repair/replace the the clutch, flywheel, and who knows what else. Once you get in these old cars you never know what you'll find. Somebody put disc brakes on the front so he stops real well. However, a former owner removed the support bar on the frame to accommodate the dual mufflers. That's a definite safety issue when driving at high speeds.

Yeah, I like the idea of racing slicks. Pop that clutch, smoke them tires, and get the wife to the mall in style. And while she's shopping, you can troll the parking lot for Friday night racing action. Or watch people stop to look at the little beauty stalking the pavement.

Gotta repair that awful paint job.
