For those of you that have them what do you think about your fawn and white runners?

I have one. He has fathered many children, grandchildren, and even some great grandchildren. He is very much a clown but thinks he is a king. At treat time he insists on being hand fed. He is too good to eat off the ground. All of our duck have unique personalities but the pure runner is in a class by himself.

Another thing I would like to say. Even though he is the lightest, he is ever vigilant and will protect his girls no matter what. His half runner son is the same way with our other flock.

i have a mix of Indian Runners and they all have unique wonderful personalities. My favorite by far is the fawn and white. She’s just the sweetest duck. Loves to be held and taps on my leg when she wants attention. I didn’t think I would be so taken by the t-shirt look but was smitten when she developed her pattern.

i actually did have a chocolate runner I loved her she wasn't extremely friendly or anything I just really liked how long she was lol

My first Indian runner was a chocolate runner, Chewy. She passed away a few years ago. She was an amazing duck. Loved to go on road trips. Could not be more personable.
Her successor Chew II is not nearly as personable but has some very hilarious behaviors.

My Favorite duck got eaten recently he was a crested white Pekin he was very friendly he would eat out of your hand loved him I think I'm gonna build a large run cause all I have left now is just mutt chickens out of my dead mixed flock that for some reason hate me I guess that's why they lived so long they don't trust like my others did all I have ever done was free range
