GREAT! I'm applying for the coupons right away. We still use rabbit ears for our TV. Just can't seem to make myself pay to watch TV. It's just not right. We thought we might have to get a dish when the change happened. But if all we need is a converter then thats great. [IMG]

Quote:You will still need to get cable or a dish. The converter only enables non digital tv's to convert the digital signal being transmitted via cable or satelite. There will be no more "thru the air transmission of tv signals". The coupons are being made available, so you won't have to buy a digital tv.

Look at this link. From what I can tell you don't need a dish or cable, You just need the converter box, the signals are still transmitted thruough airwaves.

Yep, this is my excuse to cut the cord. No more brain drain for us. I'm looking forward to the signal going dead!
