We had fowl pox in our small flock last fall and now the chicken that had wet pox and survived has a case of dry pox discovered today. We have 3 brooders full of new pullets and roos that haven't been introduced to our hens. How do I protect them and help my sick hen? Is there hope for a bird that gets it twice? Thank you!

Are you certain the pullet had wet pox last fall? Most chickens who get fowl pox are immune to the type or strain of pox for life. There are strains that affect different types of poultry. What were her symptoms then? Did anyone have dry pox last fall? Can you post some of the pictures of the chicken? What part of the world are you located?
