Found 2 eggs! 1st time laying..outside of coop?

I found 2 eggs this afternoon in a hole dug but a chicken outside of our coop. I have 4 nesting boxes and 10 chickens + 1 rooster. I let them free range from around 7-8am to 8pm and they LOVE it, but don't want eggs to be laid all over the yard. Any hints or tips? Pictures show the eggs (im assuming these are from either 2 different chickens or maybe one could be from yesterday and I didn't spot it.

Put Fake chicken eggs where you want your chickens to lay and that will show them where a safe place to lay is.

Just wanted to thank you all for the tips! I put the fake eggs in and low and behold they are now laying in there by the next day. Chickens are such funny creatures

New layers need to be taught where to lay. Fake eggs in the nests can help. I actually had to put 2 or 3 of my previous pullets in the nests because they were so used to ignoring the nests they never even looked inside to see the fake eggs! Once they realized the fakes were there, they got onboard with using the boxes too.

These are too light weight.

I got ceramic ones that are the same shade as the ones my chicken laid and its working great!
