found a baby somthing ? help !

    Looks like a baby starling to me! It's a fledgling, so he probably is leaving the nest. You won't have to do much, just return him to an area near where you found him and he'll fly away on his own. Right now he's just learning, so likely it'll take him a day or two to figure out how to fly.

    Once they lose the yellow around their lips, they are pretty much ready to be on their own.

    Leave it outside, it will find a place to hide. The parent birds are probably still around.

    Yeah, probably a baby birdie just fresh outta the nest to learn to fly. Should be fine to just release [​IMG]

    Starlings are actually legal to keep, but at that age he will probably be more wild than a pet. Starlings are fun, but their diet can be a little tricky too.

    My mom found a baby starling once. She called the vet and asked how to help it and he said "drown it". I guess they are a nuisance in some areas. We fed it for a few days and then released it [​IMG]
