Found a broody sitting on an egg. Is this is first stage of development?

I found my white Cochin sitting on an egg. I literally just hatched 21 chicks, and didn't want anymore, so I removed it. I candled and it looked clear, so I opened it up. The white spot looks like a scattered bullseye. Did I just chuck a growing baby???? The outer membrane and she'll were quite tough.

Not sure. 3 days MAXIMUM.

I can't give you a definite answer, but it's possible that is was in the very very early stages of development. I assume you have at least one rooster?

I don't really see anything obviously developing from the picture. Nothing to be worried about anyway.
