I found a home for our cockeral! Yay!
He is a 6 month old GLW that was supposed to be a pullet.
I was looking at fabric at Walmart on wednesday and a lady was looking at a chicken print cotton woven.
I said "It's funny how all the chicken print fabrics are all rooster prints, no hens, when everyone wants to keep hens, NOT roosters"
She said "Do you have chickens?"
I said " I have six hens and one rooster that I need to find a new home, do you want a rooster?"
She said "No, but my cousin just lost her rooster to a hawk." She took out her cell phone and called.. we arranged for her to pick him up, and he is on his way to his new home in a nice rural area with lots of girls! Yay!!
