Found a stray bird, what breed is she/he? :)

Found a bird in Cambridge and picked it up to take home. It has a poorly leg which we will get checked out soon. At first a thought it was a turkey but I put this on a thread and someone said it looks like a Malay hen (which it does!!). It has very long legs and neck compared to a chicken. Many thanks.

Thanks for the replies; i am pretty sure it's a malay hen. Ha yeah i take in a lot of strays, weird that they always seem to find me

Agree on the Malay mix, but I don't think it's a hen. That looks to be rooster coloring. Better pic would help confirm.
