Found an Egg in the run...

Just a few minutes ago, I went out to give my ladies fresh water and I found an egg outside on the ground. Is this a discarded egg that I should throw away? Or is it just fine, she just couldn't make it to the toilet (so to speak)?

I get one of them here and there. I say stick it in a glass of water, if it floats toss it. If not crack that baby open. If it looks like an egg, smells like an egg(hopefully not a rotten one) then fry it like an egg!
