Wouldn't know... but IMO... A free running bator is a great bator!

Heck! Any free bator is a good one! [IMG]

As far as if it will work okay or not, you will be the one to have to find that out. Try starting it up. If it runs, let it warm up for a few days and then pop a few eggs into it. Then you'll know if it is good or not. [IMG]

BTW - I wouldn't spend money on any eggs to try out, just in case. Just put a few of your own in there. [IMG]

my grandfather was extremely meticuous with his "toys" (he was a NASA engineer for about 40 years) its plugged in right now, i called hium and he said he used it for quail... which is perfect since i bought about 20 quail eggs which will arrive in a few days, just making sure the thermostat is adjusted until then...

The letter is so cool! Yep, definitely an engineer thing! [IMG] I hope your new found bator works great, and hope you have a good report for Grandpa! Cherish both the bator and the letter! [IMG]
