Im treating it as spraddle leg and turned it around and taped it to the other one. I need to have an idea how long to keep it taped and this little one under my care. It is a new hatch not more than a day old.

After a couple of days with just feet taped together as for spraddle leg, I had to tape around body to hold hip in. The poor thing also required a foot brace to straighten curled toes an turned under foot. I used cardboard and cooled hot glue for shoe which is working well. I found it struggling toward its mama who had relocated to a different position in the coop.. Its little leg was totally turned around limp and facing backward. Her 8 other chicks were with her and physically normal.
