Found in a book. What is it?

    Is that one of the California whites? I think that's what they're called. One of the hatcheries sells them.

    I saw a hen that looked EXACTLY like that in Grit magazine. I want one too, but don't know what she is!!! I thought CA Whites were all white, no spots?

    Possibly splash Orpington? Or at least that would be close I believe.

    Welp hatchery has the California white. Their pic looks like that one.

    : Really I think this hen is too bulky/short for a California white. And being leghorns I don't believe California whites set, but maybe someone can correct me on this? If they don't set, this hen couldn't be since she has the chicks. (Edited again to add..) I also notice this hen has a rose comb, that crosses out both the California white and my original thought.. But like I did say, Splash orp probably would be close..
