found this weird unidentified insect in my garden. help identify plz

    I have kiled one under carport and one in my garage and just ao happens i stumble across a third one in my garden. I have no clue what it is help

    It was idk in legs and everything width idk close to two inches? It looked like it had a stinger is what freaked me out out the most..

    My 7 ..yearold son was right but i dont see the stinger Looking thing in those pictures? Almost looking like a wasp without wings and legs instead but yes jumped very much like a cricket

    Cricket. Completely harmless. Great treat for the chickens.

    It's sone type of cricket. The stinger thing means it's a female because of how long it is.
