These very friendly chickens wandered onto our property about two weeks ago. We have been unable to find the owner, so we are now trying to find homes for them. They are very sweet and relaxed when held. They fly into the trees to sleep at night. I have chased away coyotes twice and owls once who were trying to make a meal of them.
Please contact me if you are the owner, can provide a home for them, or have any suggestions for finding a home for them. I will take them to the animal shelter if needed, but I am trying to avoid that.
