I am located in the Green Swamp, in Florida. My question is, today I found two...what's left of them [IMG] ...chickens in a tree right under what I think is a squirrel's nest along with some broken chicken eggs in it. What does anyone think would take them up in the tree to eat? They are decent size chickens, when I bought them, I was told they were Leghorns (got them at TSC). Any ideas?

My BF is guessing it could be a racoon.

If the eggs were in the nest is it possible the hen layed in the nest up there? Then got themselves kill by a hawk? They just may have gone up there on their own.
