Due to some family emergencies I need to rehome some of my hens.
These girls are flighty and will not stay in their run. Putting a roof over the coop is not a financial option at the moment and with the way things are going right now I do not have the time to spend to work with them every day. I have tried to clip their wings and the little escape artists are still managing to get out. I would let them free roam if they would stay in the yard but they want to go into the neighbors yard and they have cats that are great birders and a couple of dogs that are not so nice. They are in a small pen right now and I just feel really bad for them. A good home is more important than money but I was thinking about $20.00 for all four or a trade for two heavy breed laying hens.

I put the pics. of these girls up in the breed/gender section and the majority say they are some type of game hen. I was told that if they are phoenix that they would have white ear lobes. These girls do not.
I could try to ship them but have never done that before and really would like to try and find them a home closer to me before shipping.

Pedenes, I saw the pics. of your girls that you had for sale and they do look remarkably like them. I personally think that these girls are beautiful and I really do not want to rehome them but I really feel bad when I go out to feed and see them sitting in a 8' x 3' pen.

We're having a swap/sell meet this weekend in Gainesville if you're close enough to come.
