Fowl Pox??? I need many opinons please!!!

Ok so I have about 6 or 7 year old chickens that have weird dots on their face. And I have a total of around 43 chickens I'm worried it might spread. And what I can do about it. I'm thinking it might be fowl pox which would make me very mad because I got them from a hatchery that should have vaccinated them. Here are some pictures of a couple that I could catch. And one of them is broody so im worried. And they all seem to eat and drink just fine, they have lots of energy and run around all day long so I hope it just something else. And this has also been a recent occurrence maybe a couple or so days maybe a week.

When you ordered them from the hatchery, did you choose the vaccinated option and pay more for it to be done?

Some people dab iodine on the bumps to help them with the itch and irritation part. If there are bumps on their eyes, I wouldn’t do those with iodine.

Fowl pox virus usually runs it’s course over about a month. I was not aware that any hatchery vaccinates for pox, although they will off a coccidiosis and a Mareks vaccine. Pox comes from mosquitoes in hot weather. There is a wet form which is more rare, and that causes yellow material or plaques inside the beak and throat. It is more serious and can cause death. If scabs are near eyes, make sure the chickens can reach food and water, in case they cannot see. Here is a good article about pox:
