I know this has probably been covered and I just don't know how to search for the specific answer I want......so a new thread.
Can mosquitoes spread fowl pox to my chicks if they feed on one of my hens that had it last year? My older girls finished up pox last October, I've not vaccinated the chicks yet, I wanted to wait 'til they were at least 4 weeks. They turned 3 weeks today and have just simply outgrown my brooding area. I put them in the coop, my coop is divided and they are NOT in direct contact with the older hens.....they are, however, on the other side of the wall.
Thanks folks!!
