My EE flock won't eat strange new foods either. My adult flock eats anything.

One of my BO's "snuck" around the far edges of the run when I gave them cantaloupe this summer - she used to love it. Can't figure that one out.

The funniest thing is to see all shuffle away with anything new and once one braves up and tastes it , they all come running.

I did give them the seeds and stringing stuff from a pumpkin once - not one chicken would even get close to it
