This is an egg one of our hens laid. I would put it under Freakiest Shape. It's a lot lumpier than it looks in the picture. I didn't know it would be so hard to get a good pic of an egg!

Weird, looks more like a rock than an egg.

    Freakiest Egg
this was laid by one of my Nankin Bantams. Not sure why. had 2 yolks in it......about an inch and a half long. My husband said the chicken must have swallowed a whole peanut shell, to get an egg like this. LOL.

    this would be Smallest Egg:
this was laid by one of my cochin bantams. The larger egg is a normal, 2 oz bantam cochin egg. note the floss package in the pic....you can see how tiny the little on is. I don't know if it had a yolk or not, I still have it in my fridge. Yeah, like 7 months later. LOL.

Believe it or not this is a hard-shelled egg all the way. No non-shelled or soft-shelled bits... just like a regular egg except that THING at the end! We did not not, needless to say, eat it. [IMG]

I left it on the counter over night and the next day the sticky out part had been sucked into the egg. I didn't get a pic of that though.
