Can ayone recommend a free AND safe anti virus software that I can dowload for my laptop. A lot of the anti virus software out there you have to pay for it. [IMG]

    Thank you for your suggestions.

Avast, AVG etc. are always good. I use Micosoft's free Security Essentials on all our Windows computers, mostly just because it's super fast and non-annoying.

I'm currently using AVG, but I used McAfee for a while (it came free from my service provider). McAfee is a heavy program, AVG is lighter. I've looked into Microsoft Essentials and am thinking about changing to that because I need the lightest anti-virus possible. But, I've heard equal reviews between AVG, Avast and Essentials, so I'm not sure.

Right now I have Panda as my anti virus software on my laptop. So, before I download the new anti virus software, I have to make sure that I delete the one that will be replaced right?

Thanks for all of the suggestions. [IMG]
