Free Chicks!!!!

Holy predicament!!! I had an order that I placed for some chicks that I cancelled... although they didn't cancel it... and I'm not set up for 30 additional chicks!!!!!

I already have 30 that should be here any day now!!!!

Anyone in the MA, RI, CT area that would like some chicks... please let me know. The order was for mostly pullets... RIR, Buff Orps, EEs, and I can't remember the rest of the order!

I'm going to see if I can find anyone in my neighborhood that would like some, but I would like to find GOOD homes for the extras! I would love to keep all of them, but my poor hubby would have a stroke if he saw how many were going to accidentally be here! Maybe he wouldn't count how many were there.... hmmm!

I don't have a problem keeping them here for a little bit, but not for too long. If no one will take them I will bring them to the local feed store for them to sell, just figured I'd give everyone on here a chance at them first!

I am in Ma, I will take the EE if that helps. I already have the buffs, and I am not too crazy about the RIR. When I had those they were nasty, they killed some of my bantmans and everything.

Just let me know what other breeds you have and I will let you know on those!

Talked to the hubby..... and I was PETRIFIED!!!

He's letting me keep some of the extras... so I will give you the extra EEs Tracy and I'm going to keep the rest possibly. I already have 6 EEs on the way, so I can part with the extras of those. That's the last time I place or cancel and order! Think that I'll stick to my local store next time!!!

I'm in Amesbury and can pick up whenever works for you! I'm wicked excited for chicks...have everything all set up and I just play with it cause mine aren't coming for another couple weeks

I'm sure that the extra order is going to include a bunch of peanuts, so I will definitely be able to part with them! I don't want more than 2 roos here, and I already have those coming in the order that I kept!

If you lived a couple of thousand miles closer I would be very interested in the RIR. I have one right now and it is our favorite chicken. We are getting 3 - 5 more in early April.

I'm in the Springfield/Palmer area of Mass. I wouldn't mind any EEs that aren't spoken for. Actually, I wouldn't mind one or two of the RIRs and BOs as well. I'm trying to do just a mixed backyard flock... Let me know if you haven't found a home for all of them (Lord knows, I can't take more than 4-6). Thanks!

ETA: girls only, though. My neighbors would be encouraging a lovely chicken dinner for the boys...
