I have 14 hens in my chicken coop that I just can't take care of anymore. The coop is a permanent structure that I need to tear down to make room for landscaping and we're not really big fans of the chickens in the first place. Aside from not having bought eggs from the store in almost 2 years, they really serve no purpose for us.
6 of the 14 are only 9 months old and the rest are about 2 1/2 years old. We're not home enough to let them out to free range anymore so they're just not happy and I hate that I can't help them.
We are in Prairieville, Louisiana and would LOVE for someone to take them off our hands! Please let me know if you would be interested. I don't have a truck anymore so you would have to pick them up.
