I got a call today from the Folkes-Peterson Wildlife Center in West Palm Beach, FL. They have a young rooster they're trying to rehome to a caring (not hungry) family. They raised him from a chick and couldn't bear the idea of him going to be dinner. When they offered him to me I had to be honest & say I already had my quota of roos to oversee my flocks, and I'd only take theirs as a dinner guest. These people do a fantastic job of rescuing & caring for all sorts of wildlife, they really love their animals. I want to help them find a home for their rooster pal. Like everyone else, they're short on funds because of the economy and are trying to keep their center going by rehoming some of their animals. Please contact me & I'll pass your info on to the folks at the center.
