Freedom Rangers raised by a broodie in Winter - Is it possible?

I raised some meat birds last year, and really enjoyed them

. I didn't get around to raising any this year however, and now I am sorry.

Could I simply stick some meat chicks under my broody Jersey Giant hens? Is it too late in the year to try this?

My birds free range inside portable net fencing, and our last frost date here is Nov. 19th.

Go for it! As long as you can keep them all warm like in a warm place then nothing would stop me!
