Young chickens will always be at the bottom of the pecking order in a flock. Depending on how old the chicks are, how many of them there are, and how many adult hens there are, things can get bad enough the chicks could even get killed. Introducing new birds of any age into an established flock is always a bit tricky; you will need to watch carefully and be ready to separate birds before serious damage gets done.
