I have been sick for 2 days and decided to make Chicken n Dumpins today to make myself feel better. I had never made it before and mixed a few different recipes and took suggestions from different places. BYC being one of them! I don't know if its because I'm sick but this soup is AMAZING. I'm angry with myself for never making it before. It will now be a stable that is always in the freezer. Speaking of freezer.....I am incapable of making SMALL amounts of anything. I blame the way my Dad taught me to cook. LOL So now I have about 1/2 gallon of this soup with dumplings that I need to store and freeze. Do I scoop off the dumplings and leave them with the leftovers that will be eaten in the next few days? Can you freeze dumplings? BTW...a HUGE HUGE THANK YOU to whoever said you can use canned biscuits to make the dumplings. No better way to make dumplings when you are sick.
