French Black Copper Maran in CT/NY?

Hi All,

Trying to find a French Black Copper Maran to start my new flock. I've already checked listed breeders in CT, but no luck with getting a response. Does anyone know of availabilities? Looking for dark layers and am a little nervous to chance buying off of Meyers as the reviews are not chocolate brown eggs.

If you look on Craigslist there is someone out of Aqawam MA that has BCM hatching eggs forsale. I would contact them. Nice looking eggs
