Ready to ship tomorrow (Tuesday - Feb. 8th) - One dozen, plus a couple of extras, French Black Copper hatching eggs. These are from the same birds whose eggs won both the Ohio National and Wisconsin National APA Marans egg shows. I have my FBCMs divided into two groups right now. What I call the "Best" and "The Rest". These are from The Rest, who actually lay the darkest eggs. The Rest include about 3 dozen birds. There may be a roo with too much red in breast and females with too much copper in hackles; along with roos and hens who have too little color; an occasional brown vent fluff; or white wing feather; or dark eyes. In other words, they didn't make the cut into my "Best" pen which are all birds who are APA conforming and have no "faults". I sell my "Best" bird's eggs at $70 per dozen off my website (and $60 on BYC) and am offering "The Rest" at half price. Paypal is firstname.lastname@example.org. The dozen eggs pictured can go out tomorrow (Tues. or Wed.) I should have another dozen for shipping early the next week. I have waiting lists for my Best eggs and waiting lists for my Olive Eggs but no waiting list for my regular dark layers.
