My older toulouse have started laying already. I have cracked open the last 5 eggs and all have the nice viivd bull's eye that means they are fertile. These first few eggs I am selling for 1/2 price at $1 an egg because I really cannot use them myself just now.
I would only suggest shipping 4 or 5 of these at a time. They are so big and heavy- no matter how well I have tried packing them they just don't do well with too much weight in the box. The last time I shipped just 4 goose and 6 duck eggs they all developed. Pick up is free.
My toulouse are from Metzer Farm's 2006 French Import line. They are much more productive than standard toulouse available in the US. You can find out more about them here:
