Has anyone use Fresh Coop Odor Control from TSC?

Fresh Coop Odor Control combines food grade diatomaceous earth with calcium montmorillonite and non-GMO citric acid to eliminate harmful ammonia levels, odors and moisture. It's he safe and easy way to manage ammonia odor and moisture levels present in backyard chicken coops. Fresh Coop is OMRI listed for use in organic production and can be used with backyard chickens, pullets, layers, quail, ducks, turkeys, pigeons, and pheasants.
Controls odors and wetness
7 lb. granules in refillable easy shake jug
Sprinkle evenly on top of bedding and existing litter as required

I’m going to use my food grade DE , turn into my deep litter, then put fresh bedding on top. Hope it works. I have two roosting boxes. One smells earthy, the second one had strong ammonia smell. I worked on the ventilation, I think it may be working. I’m going to use oats and get the chickens to scratch the bedding.

This? Couldn't find it on TSC site.

Sweet PDZ probably works as well or better and it's much less expensive:

Get the horse bag.....

....NOT this chicken bag(which I have seen at TSC):

Thanks. I have been using PDZ and happy with it.

Thank you. I found the thread on here, signed in and lost it lol. Someone posted that DE turned in with the deep litter neutralizes the ammonia.

Start a new thread with your post so you can get some expertise advice. It will get overlooked here.

DE may absorb some moisture,
but I don't think it absorbs ammonia like zeolite(PDZ) does.

Thanks. I have been using PDZ and happy with it.
Why the change then?
