This was my five year old's reaction to his first fresh eggs in a few months. Even he could tell the difference.

That is the reason I started keeping chickens, everyone kept saying how great the taste was. It's no lie! We cooked up our 1st 3 homegrown eggs and they were awesome!!!!

How cute! We haven't gotten eggs since winter began! Those silly chickens don't know how much I hate store bought eggs!

Cute pick! Is that him in your avatar?

We only have 4 hens, but we sure enjoy the fresh eggs. And when we fry them up side-by-side with store bought, we can tell the difference! My 4 girls don't get quite that excited, but they are happy!

Quote:Yup, that was the first time we met a friend's new sheep. That's Adam in the avatar. He's sweeter and gentler than the two ewes. Now my son wants sheep AND silkies....[IMG]
