Fresh ideas for brooder roosts

    I was having trouble figuring out something that my chicks could use as a roost in the brooder - without going out and chopping up a tree....

    Here are pictures of what my silly mind came up with! [​IMG]

    Once the chicks decided it wasn't going to eat them - they became rather attached to it!

    [​IMG] I love it!!! That idea crossed my mind but ours are hung on the wall so it was a no go. They really do love stuff to climb around on.

    Thank goodness I found this one in a ditch one day - it's actually a nice rack except that coyotes had gnawed on most of the tines making them rounded. [​IMG]
