Friends of Sharks and dots

Hi all! Might do a coop cleanout this weekend buuuuut may wait if the next deep freeze is still coming. maybe I'll just clean ONE out. Nat's OE chickies are doing fabulously and love their brinsea ecoglow - all 13 are still kicking. I see three roos so far - BIG straight combs coming out. Other than that, same old same old.

So far all the straight combs popping up are probably boys - they are really huge at just two+ weeks and are already showing a bit of pink. It's the blue/gray chicks that are throwing up the straight combs if that helps you in any way to know.

Nat, I threw that OE roo in with my BLRW's yesterday. My blrw roo would do nothing more than look at him and he was running around the pen screaming like a girl

He started crowing yesterday, well, I guess you could call it crowing. Sounded more like someone was strangling him!
