    for a little but onces they grow you need a good size cage I do this all the time when I get new seramas chicks hatching let them in their for a week or so then out they go

    Yes, as long as it's only a few for a short while. This is before my hatch was finished so they lived in here until I upgraded them to a bigger brooder:

    I keep my chicks in fish tanks for a day or two, then put into the brooder. Of course, they need a light bulb to keep warm.
