frizzle breed?

Likely a Cochin x Easter Egger mix if I had to guess.

yay! thats what i was hoping. i am hoping to get some frizzled easter egger babies next year with my tan laying hens.

i knew that, all easter eggers are mixed though.

If he is and Easter Egger mix and you cross him to brown egg laying hens there is only a very small chance you'll get green or blue green layers out of them. The blue egg laying gene will be very diluted. There is a better than good chance they will lay brown eggs like their mothers. Breeding him to Easter Egger hens will produce the offspring your wanting.

oh well. colored eggs would be a bonus, but i just love the frizzle feathers.
