Frizzle chickens - Are Frizzles accepted within breed standard for APA shows or not?

Hi,

We have Light Sussex, Delawares, and Salmon Favorelles young chicks - 5 weeks old and a few appear to have Frizzle. Is Frizzle accepted for APA showing in these breeds or is it a DQ? Our daughter is in the poultry project for 4H which uses APA standard.

Thanks for your insight and direction as we consider which ones we will be keeping.

Frizzles of all breeds are accepted at APA shows, though most frizzles are Cochins and Polish. Frizzles are not really breeds. They are a variety of a breed. For example, there are Black Frizzle Cochins. Black Frizzle is the variety.
