I have a late batch of chicks and a few of them look like they might be
Frizzles but I'm not familiar w hatching this type of chick. So I was
hopeing that someone could give me an idea they are about 7-10 days
old? Thanks I hope this is not a repeat question and if so if someone
Could lead me to the threads it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan [IMG]

You can tell pretty well once the feathers start growing out of the down - the frizzles have feathers that curl back instead of laying flat.

[IMG] In post 12 on the next page I tried to explain it a little better about the difference in feathers. :)

[IMG] from California, I've never had a frizzle but sounds like you got some good advise.
